Thanks for your comment. The male pheasant really is very colourful.
I do have some shots of the female pheasant but the plummage is very dull and does not make a good image.

The subject colours stand out because of the “subdued” background colours.
The image profile is set for viewing in sRGB. If viewed on Adobe RGB capable monitor or an uncalibrated monitor, the colours may appear over-saturated.
