Blackrock Cottage – Glencoe
One of the most beautiful and most photographed scenes in the Scottish Highlands.
Because of the wide variation in weather conditions, in this region, the “character” of this peaceful tranquil scene can quickly be transformed, into one of the bleakest, stormy, landscapes in Scotland.

Many thanks for your comment. I don’t have a stormy one at present, but if you “google” blackrock cottage images, you will see many images of this scene in different weather conditions and compositions.

Many thanks Paul. I really need to get back up into the Scottish highlands. October and November is best for the autumn colours.
